Figma to WordPress – Custom Theme Development

In this project, I converted a detailed Figma design into a fully custom WordPress website, built from scratch using TailwindCSS and ACF Pro for maximum speed, flexibility, and long-term scalability. The client provided a modern, visually rich Figma file, and the goal was to transform it into a high-performance, pixel-perfect WordPress theme that matched the design exactly. I recreated every section, grid, spacing system, and component inside WordPress, ensuring the final site delivered the same visual quality as the original UI mockup.

The theme was developed using clean, lightweight TailwindCSS, which allowed me to create consistent styling, responsive layouts, and precise spacing that would be difficult to achieve with page builders or pre-made themes. Every part of the website—hero sections, service grids, image blocks, testimonials, contact forms, and blog layouts—was implemented as reusable ACF Pro fields. This gave the client complete control over content updates without relying on Elementor or other heavy builders, keeping the site extremely fast and SEO-friendly.

Search engine optimization was a core part of the development process. I optimized all pages for Core Web Vitals, implemented semantic HTML tags, structured content using proper heading hierarchy, and added complete metadata, Open Graph tags, and image alt attributes. Combined with Tailwind’s minimal CSS footprint and optimized assets, the website achieved excellent performance scores, helping it rank faster and higher on Google.

The final result is a fully custom, responsive, SEO-optimized WordPress site converted directly from Figma—fast, scalable, secure, and easy to manage. This project showcases my ability to deliver high-quality custom WordPress themes that are both visually perfect and technically powerful.
